1. Save On Advertising: When sending out flyers or marketing materials to your clients, find another business that targets your customers but is not a competitor and send them together with theirs. Also, send advertisements or promotions with invoices or other necessary mail out items.
2. Save on Employee Costs: Make sure you have the appropriate number of employees compared to customers. Figure out a healthy ratio between the two and see how you compare. You may find you have too many or not enough employees.
3. Reduce Your Workload: You can do this by training or educating your customers. This cuts down on phone calls and emails, reduces workload. Sending them emails or sending them this educational information with their orders can also save money and time.
4. Make a List: Write down a list of everything you spend money on for your business, then see if you can find a cheaper solution. There always little things you can do that can add up to big savings in your expenses. Doing these various little things will then become habit, and saving money will be something you do without even thinking about it.
